Anti-GST Taq Mouse Monoclonal
Affinity purified monoclonal Anti-GST-Tag, clone GST.B6, mouse IgG2a. Recognizes native and denatured forms of purified GST or GST fusion proteins. Applications: Western Blot (1:1000-3000), Dot Blot, ELISA, Immunocytochemistry (1:500-2000), Immunoprecipitation. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Host Species/Expression System
WB, ICC, IP, ELISA
Store at –20°C for up to 2 years. Centrifuge after first thaw to maximize product recovery. Aliquot to avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Aliquots may be stored at +4°C for 1-2 weeks.
GST (Glutathione S-Transferase) is a 26kDa protein encoded by the parasitic helminth Schistosoma japonicum and widely used in the pGEX family of GST plasmid expression vectors as a fusion protein with foreign proteins.
Aqueous buffer solution
1 mg/ml in 10 mM PBS, pH 7.2, with 0.05% NaN3
Schistosoma japonicum. Recognizes native and denatured forms of purified GST or GST fusion proteins. Predicted molecular weight of Schistosoma japonicum GST: 26 kDa.
Works in human cells; predicted to work in all proteins containing the GST tag, regardless of species. Does not cross-react with mammalian GST.
Protein A Affinity Chromatography
Purified Schistosoma japonicum GST fusion protein.
